Friday wrap up – April 1 2016

Friday wrap up

Well there is no April fools joke about the fact that April is here. It’s crazy, isn’t it?

Wedding season starts in one short month, and much like last year Magan and I will be headed to Boston, Vermont, New York, and so many other great places with amazing people.

With each trip we take a little time for ourselves, and I’m looking forward to that. This winter has been just as crazy as the wedding season, but without the fun get-away trips built in.

But as the weather warms up and we look forward to budding trees and spring flowers, we have a big move on our hands. Much of my things have been in a storage unit in Portland as I waited for the final word on our new studio. FINALLY! It’s here.

The new studio is in the North Dam Mill in the up and coming Biddeford-Saco re-development complex. I love it!

It’s big enough to host events, a gorgeous space for meeting with clients, and will be exactly what I need as I meet one of my 2016 goals to take my portraiture and lighting to a new level. Tons of shoots, non-stop practice, and skills that will overflow into my wedding photography. I am so excited.

Somewhere in this mix Magan and I need to get away. Life just throws so much at you sometimes that its easy to overlook the need to re-center, re-balance, and step forward on a fresh, firm foundation.

But that’s spring in a way. And I’m hoping the same for you.

Cheers,

Peter
